Mr. Paul Rust has dedicated more than three decades to teaching and coaching at Berean Academy. For 30 years, he has taught high school history and American government, while also serving as the junior high boys’ basketball coach and assisting with high school track and field.

Jacky is a beloved retired teacher whose dedication to Christian education has impacted generations of students. Her passion for serving young people began early—at age 16, she entered ministry by teaching Sunday School, starting a Children’s Church, and working with YFC clubs in Omaha, Nebraska.

The Praise & Celebration Banquet is Berean Academy’s primary fundraiser held annually. We had another wonderful time together at East Lake this year!  One huge difference was that we had the 6th graders joining in, and they did a fantastic job of integrating into the junior high. I am Sarah Friesen, and the new Admissions Director for Berean Academy. My husband, Marc, and I are now in our 12th year as parents (Luke, 11th; Kate, 7th) here at the school.
