The Praise & Celebration Banquet is Berean Academy’s primary fundraiser held annually. We are excited to announce that this year’s event will be on Friday, April 10, at 6:30 p.m. Each year, this special evening brings together nearly 600 guests—alumni, grandparents, parents, and friends—all united in supporting Christian education that helps our children grow as scholars, disciples, and citizens in Christ.
This year is especially meaningful as Berean Academy joyfully celebrates its 80th year of Christ-centered education. As we celebrate Berean Academy’s 80th year, our theme—“Looking Back and Pressing On”—invites us to remember God’s faithfulness in the past (Deuteronomy 32:7) while continuing to pursue the calling set before us (Philippians 3:12, 14). This year’s banquet highlights both the legacy we’ve been given and the mission we eagerly press forward to fulfill.
Funds raised this year will be directed towards two important purposes. First, the Board of Directors will be launching the first stage of Phase Three of the Kingdom Building Campaign. This stage will involve renovating the current high school wing from top to bottom. Items to be updated include flooring, windows, ceilings, HVAC, and more. We are excited to move forward with this project and provide our students with newer, more efficient learning spaces. Secondly, donations will benefit the Family Education Grant (FEG). The FEG is a donation-funded program that provides tuition assistance based on financial need. Families who apply can qualify to receive a grant of up to 55% of tuition. Our Multiple Student Discount is also funded through FEG, helping families with more than one student enrohttps://www.bereanwarriors.org/event-details/2025-praise-celebration-banquetlled at Berean benefit from this support.
Creating this beautiful evening takes many hands—parents, staff, students, and volunteers. Guests will enjoy a delicious meal prepared by our kitchen team and served by Berean students. The program will feature inspiring performances by our Honor Band and Choir, along with a special presentation from the Children’s Choir, showcasing the depth of our fine arts program.
You’ll also hear from our esteemed Head of School, Mr. David Funk, and enjoy heartfelt testimonies from members of the Berean community as we reflect on God’s work throughout these 80 years.
