On Saturday, May 17, Berean Academy gained a new set of alumni! The class of 2025 is now added to the funny pages, and their time at Berean has come to an end. The morning was a meaningful celebration of their time at Berean, but more importantly, it was a celebration of God’s faithfulness to them and their families. The class asked Mr. Lewis Wiebe to bring the Commencement Address. Mr. Wiebe drew from the story of Joshua and the people of Israel as they transitioned from the wilderness and the leadership of Moses to the Promised Land and the leadership of Joshua. Lewis reminded the class that the people of Israel were called to remember but also to look forward. Lewis argued that the command to remember was not capricious, but a command founded in something external to them: the character and nature of God, and it was because of His character, nature, and promises that they like the people of Israel can move forward with confidence as they transition away from Berean and to all kind of new beginnings. We wish each of the seniors Christ's blessing in all the ministries he calls them to.
