Our school took on a new kind of service project this past spring, helping Steve Bowers’ new school in Tennessee collect books for its brand-new library opening this fall. Over the course of a month, grades K–12 gathered books of all kinds, stacking them in their homerooms. At the end of April, our K–4 students performed Ameri-Kids, reminding us that our founding fathers placed their trust in the God of the Bible. Congratulations to Coach Lewis Wiebe and the Berean Academy boys’ basketball team on advancing to the State Championship this year. The Warriors concluded their season with a hard-fought loss to undefeated Sterling in the 2A State Championship game in Emporia. Sterling remained unbeaten throughout the season and won by 10 points or fewer only twice—both times against Berean.
