Introducing P&C Banquet Testimonial Speaker: Jacky Wuthrich

We are excited to announce Mrs. Jacky Wuthrich as one of our testimonial speakers for this year’s P&C Banquet. Jacky is a beloved retired teacher whose dedication to Christian education has impacted generations of students. She met her husband, the late Fred Wuthrich, while studying at Grace Bible Institute, and later continued her education at Wichita State University, earning her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.

Jacky is the mother of three children—Melissa Hoppock, Fred Michael Wuthrich, and Joshua Wuthrich. Her husband and all three of her children attended and graduated from Berean Academy, making the school a meaningful part of the Wuthrich family story.

Jacky’s teaching career began at Countryside School, a feeder to Berean Academy. After seven years there, she spent the majority of her 40+ year teaching career at Berean, with an additional nine years at Central Christian in Wichita. She retired from Berean Academy in May 2025.

Her passion for serving young people began early—at age 16, she entered ministry by teaching Sunday School, starting a Children’s Church, and working with YFC clubs in Omaha, Nebraska. Jacky and her husband, Fred, also founded the Awana Club ministry at the former Swiss Church in Whitewater and faithfully served as co-commanders for 13 years. One of the greatest joys of Jacky’s life has been the privilege of working with children and young people of all ages.

We are sincerely grateful for Jacky’s Christ-centered legacy and her willingness to share her testimony at this year’s banquet.
