On Saturday, May 16, 2026, twenty-seven seniors from the class of 2026 concluded their time at Berean. This year’s senior class will be missed for its positive leadership and example of class unity. The class maintained the strong academic tradition that has been a part of Berean for many years. This high level of academic accomplishment made the competition for valedictorian and salutatorian especially competitive.
In the end, Makayla Langenegger was recognized as valedictorian, and Leah Entz was named salutatorian. The class chose Mrs. Kacie Costello, a member of the custodial staff, as their commencement speaker. Kacie reminded the seniors that their destiny did not begin with their graduation, but with God creating them in His image, with design and purpose. Because He created them with purpose and design, it is their responsibility in life to spread the Gospel and to serve Christ and others.
The morning concluded with the senior class leading the audience in the Doxology and a special time for parents to pray with their graduates. The school community prays for Christ’s blessings on the class of 2026 as they enter the ministry Christ has for each of them.
