Tad Nuce Ed. D.
Head of School

Dr. Nuce earned his teaching degree in social sciences at Southwestern College, a master’s in Christian school administration from Clark’s Summit University in Pennsylvania, and a doctorate in educational leadership from Bob Jones University. He has served over 25 years in Christian education as an educator and administrator, including 17 years with New Tribes Mission in Brazil and Mexico.

 

Dr. Nuce, who is originally from Kansas, has been married to his wife Deanna for over 30 years. They have four children and three grandchildren. In his free time, he enjoys reading about history, especially American history, and following all kinds of sports.

Jason Wine
Principal 7th - 12th Grade

Mr. Wine earned a bachelor's degree in history from Wichita State University. He earned a master's in historical theology from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis. He is starting his twentieth year at Berean Academy.

 

In his spare time, Mr. Wine enjoys spending time with his wife, Kirstin, and his three daughters. He enjoys reading history, theology, and philosophy. He also loves spending time in the outdoors: hunting and fishing.

Joni Nord

Principal K - 6th Grade

Mrs. Nord earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Bethel University-St. Paul. She earned a master's degree in family education from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. This will be her nineteenth year teaching and her tenth year at Berean Academy.

 

Mrs. Nord grew up in northern Minnesota, and God has made Kansas her family's home for 15 years. Her husband, Ryan, is a mechanical engineer at Bender Steel, Whitewater is their hometown, and together they have three children. She enjoys cheering on her kids, reading, and the Minnesota Vikings. Her life verse is Micah 6:8, "He has shown thee, o man. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God."
