Since Christmas, the music department has been hard at work preparing for a full season of performances and festivals. Students jumped right into rehearsals in January, polishing music for the winter concert on February 19, as well as for the upcoming solo and ensemble festival and the large ensemble festival later this spring. In January, Berean Academy hosted the 59th Annual Eli J. Walter Basketball Tournament, Kansas’s longest-running girls’ basketball tournament. For the second year in a row, the boys also competed in the Eli J. Walter Tournament.
