A Season of Achievement and Activity at Berean Academy This Fall Quarter

The fall quarter officially ended on October 17, but there has been no slowdown in activities at Berean Academy. Between scholars’ bowl competitions, robotics, volleyball, soccer, and cross country, it's been a busy season. In addition to all these activities, our music department hosted this year’s HOA league instrumental honors event, and our high school drama students put on a production of “The Matchmaker” by Thornton Wilder.

Our elementary school has been busy as well, hosting 5th Grade Grandparents' Day and the annual Berean Carnival, to name a few. They also dedicated the new playground in prayer, which was delayed by a few weeks due to the rainy summer weather.

Berean Academy added a new entrepreneur elective (taught by Justin Jackson) for students in grades 10-12. We aim to expand this program over time and introduce some of its activities and concepts to our elementary and middle school students as well. This semester, students are focusing on developing an entrepreneurial mindset, with the goal of launching a business plan in the second semester. Included in this program is a podcast booth where students are working on producing podcasts with Mr. Jackson to explore various topics of interest to the student body in the coming weeks and months.

Please keep the board and staff in your prayers as we make and implement plans for the future of Berean Academy. Plans for Phase III of the Kingdom Building Campaign, involving the upgrade and expansion of our facilities, are currently underway and will be started as the Lord provides. The school’s first eighty years have been amazing, but under God’s sovereign guidance and provision, the best years are still to come! Thank you for your partnership in this incredible work of God!
