2023 Fall Sports Season Review

The fall sports season began by welcoming us with sweltering weather, which made things a little interesting for a few weeks. Nonetheless, the coaches and their teams pressed forward, and suddenly, we are reflecting upon the fall season. With the leadership of four impactful seniors, the soccer team put together a strong defense and effective offense this year that made for some great games. A couple of highlights for them were tying one of the best teams in the state and also beating a 6A team. The volleyball team got some great wins against quality opponents and played some of their best volleyball at the end of the season! They mixed scrappy defense with some good serving skills as they improved throughout the season. Once again, the cross country team was able to put together some good times and team scores. The girls’ team took 1st at league, 2nd at regionals, and 5th at state with Autumn Hirsch medaling in 19th place.  The boys' team took 2nd at league, 2nd at regionals, and 6th at state with Jeremiah Briscoe earning a spot on the Academic All-State list. We are thankful to our coaches for the time and passion they put into our students and their sport, and to our faculty, parents, and community, who pitched in to make this another successful discipleship opportunity for our kids. Thank you!
