Celebrating 250 Years: A Patriotic Showcase by Berean Music Department
In celebration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of America’s Declaration of Independence, our music department showcased three patriotic performances. At the end of April, our K–4 students performed Ameri-Kids, reminding us that our founding fathers placed their trust in the God of the Bible. On Wednesday, April 1, Marion hosted the HOA League Art Festival, bringing together student artists from across the league to showcase their creativity and skill. The Fall High School Play "The Matchmaker"
On November 14th and 15th, a cast and crew of about 25 students performed “ The Matchmaker, ” written by Thornton Wilder, directed by Sarah Pressnell. This play was written in 1955 and later became the beloved musical “Hello Dolly.” The Matchmaker follows Horace Vandergelder (Jackson Briggs), a wealthy merchant in 19th-century Yonkers, NY.
