New to Berean: Robotics

We are excited to announce the addition of Robotics to our electives this year! Our team is gearing up to participate in the BEST Robotics competition. BEST Robotics is a national competition inspiring high school students to pursue engineering, science, technology, and mathematics through robotics design.

The Kansas BEST hub begins its competition on Saturday, September 25. Students will receive kit supplies to design and build a robot and VEX robotics components to power and program the robot at this event. Students will spend the following eight weeks designing, building, and programming a robot to complete this year’s challenge. This year’s theme is Demo Days. The final competition is November 20 at Charles Koch Arena – Wichita State University, beginning at 8:00 a.m. All are welcome to come to support our team!

Members of this year’s team are Yashima Armstrong, Aiden Brown, Isaac Meisinger, Jack Mitchell, Matt Orpin, Mason Regier, Zak Richards, Connor Sweazy, Taylor Sweazy, Drake Winzer, and Alex Zapata. #Bereanwarriors#robotics
