Each year Berean Academy looks to its friends and supporters to meet the annual need of what we call the Family Education Grant program, or FEG for short. This program provides tuition assistance to families who qualify based on financial need, and also provides a multiple-student discount to all families who have more than one student enrolled. Many of our families rely on FEG funds to make it possible for their children to attend Berean. This year alone, over 60% of our families benefited from FEG funds. The annual need for FEG is typically around $250,000 each year. For the past six years, Berean has been blessed to have the majority of that goal funded PRIOR to the school year starting.
The Burnham family serve as missionaries in Papua, New Guinea and are back on furlough for the 2019-2020 school year. They have been blessed, like many families, to send their children to Berean because of the generous gifts of donors to the Family Education Grant. Without donors, Berean Academy would not be an option for many families.
