Elementary Classes Provide Christmas Blessings

The Berean Elementary classes participated in the Christmas Wishes programs in Whitewater and Newton this Christmas season. The students in each classroom made monetary donations to provide a toy, a book, and an article of clothing for an anonymous "Christmas Child" in the area. What a blessing it was for the elementary teachers to see how excited their students were to bless seven children this Christmas!

The students went above and beyond their teacher's expectations in giving and were also able to provide seven backpacks filled with a Bible, needed items, and a toy to the Christmas Care, a program through the Voice of Martyrs ministry. After donating the backpacks, the elementary classes still had $37.00 and gave the remaining amount to Berean's Family Education Grant (FEG). This program provides nearly half of our families with tuition assistance each year, whether it be through applications for assistance or through our multiple student discount. It is a wonderful way to give the gift of Christian education to families within our community.

We'd like to thank our elementary students for their generosity in providing these spiritual and tangible needs to other children.
