Students are selected via a rigorous audition process that starts at the district level. [Auditions include each student performing a prepared piece, sight reading and scales.] Students who perform at the district level are then eligible to audition for selection to the All-State instrumental ensembles. Thus, the All-State student musicians are truly "the best of the best.” ( https://ksmea.org/hsband/ )

The All-State 1234A Band concert will take place in the Century II Convention Center Concert Hall in Wichita on February 29, 2020, at 3:00 p.m.
