Berean Homecoming 2022

Originally scheduled for January 14 versus Sterling, Homecoming 2022 was pushed back to February 4 and played against Ell-Saline. The high school gymnasium was packed, and the Berean fans did their job, cheering both the boys and girls varsity teams to victory. The homecoming festivities kicked off shortly after the conclusion of the boy's game. The gym was quickly transformed into a red carpet theme. Stars and light beams illuminated the aisle and a large swag backdrop. After recognizing the alumni in the audience and their importance to Berean, the candidates were introduced. This year's court was composed of Sophie Dugger, Clara Regier, Sally Wine, Eli Nord, Zechariah Richards, and Austin Thiessen. These candidates were chosen by the student body based on the strength of their Christian testimony, cooperative spirit, leadership, participation in school activities, social skills, and personality. Although most students at Berean Academy excel in these areas, the senior class chose the final Mr. and Miss Berean as students who best represented their class and Berean Academy. Congratulations to all those nominated to the Homecoming Court and this year’s Mr. Berean, Eli Nord, and Miss Berean, Sophie Dugger.
