Historic Heights: Berean Sweeps the Eli J. Walter Championships
In January, Berean Academy hosted the 59th Annual Eli J. Walter Basketball Tournament, Kansas’s longest-running girls’ basketball tournament. For the second year in a row, the boys also competed in the Eli J. Walter Tournament. The girls’ basketball team opened up the tournament with a 52-35 victory over Classical School of Wichita, which was highlighted by a 31-point night for senior Fionna Morgan.
