Praise and Celebration Banquet

Updated: Mar 4

The Praise & Celebration Banquet is Berean Academy's largest fundraiser for our Family Education Grant (FEG) program. The banquet annually brings approximately 600 guests ranging from alumni, to grandparents, and to current parents - all interested in reaching the same goal: to make Christian education affordable so that our children may grow as scholars, disciples, and citizens in Christ.

The FEG is a donation-funded program that provides tuition assistance based on financial need. Families who apply can qualify to receive a grant up to 55% of tuition. Our Multiple Student Discount is also funded through FEG. Therefore, all families who have more than one student attending Berean benefit from the FEG!

The P&C Banquet requires many volunteers from parents, staff, and students to create a beautiful evening. You will enjoy a meal provided by our kitchen staff and served by many of our students. Our Honor Band and Choir will present numbers for you to catch a glimpse of our fine arts. You will hear the State of our School address in addition to a captivating speech provided by our Keynote Speaker, Dean Merrill (1960 graduate of Berean). Jerry McClenahan, current teacher (41 years) and grandparent, will share his testimony of Christian education and its importance for our students. The evening will close with prayer and the singing of the Doxology, which gives a powerful ending to the evening.

The banquet will be held on Friday, April 3, at 6:30 p.m. Prior to the banquet, we will host a reception beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the junior high gym. The banquet doors open at 6:00 p.m. Join us for the Encore Reception immediately following the banquet from 8:30-10:00 p.m. Dress is business casual.
