Junior High

Junior high is an important transitional period and Berean intentionally creates an atmosphere for students to navigate new challenges spiritually, academically, and socially. During seventh and eighth grade, a new schedule and athletic opportunities allow for more independence balanced within formal structures strategically placed to facilitate growth as a child of God.

Our goal in junior high is to have a relationship with your son or daughter. Berean knows that through a strong relationship we can create an environment that will allow students to ask questions and grow in their personal, academic, and spiritual lives.

Senior High

The high school experience is one that we remember forever. Between ball games, labs, chapels, final exams and concerts Berean students develop friendships that often last a lifetime. Berean Academy teachers are the “living curriculum” who understand the value of relationships with students and the importance of modeling Christ to them on a daily basis. They are also highly professional as nearly 60 percent of our high school faculty have earned a master’s degree and average over 14 years of experience at Berean.

Berean’s faculty are passionate about their subject matter and inspire students to achieve their God-given potential. Many of our teachers hold state certification, ACSI certification or have earned a master’s degree in education. Berean teachers are professionals in every sense of the word.

Our second goal is transformation. Transformation has been defined as “A complete and permanent change to what you were designed to be all along.” As a distinctly Christian school, Berean’s entire curriculum is designed to impact the heart, soul and mind of your student to become more like Jesus Christ. Through the impact of Christian teachers, a vibrant chapel program, required Bible classes and Christian friends, your student will be exposed to the living Word of God on a daily basis. Our hope is that they will grow to be true Warriors for Jesus Christ as they complete their education at Berean and pursue the call that God places on their life.

Berean Academy prepares students academically for their next step of life. Over 85 percent of our students pursue a formal college education. With the 2016 seniors averaging 24.9 on the ACT (2016 Kansas avg. is 21.90), our students are well prepared for college or pursuing a vocation. Students must earn 24 credits for graduation as follows:

A Final Word

We are praying for you and your family as you make the important decision of how and where your children will be educated. If you are struggling with the question of finances, please know that everyone who has taken the step of faith to put their student at Berean has been where you are. Investing in a Christian education is a decision that you will never regret. It is a step of faith, but God has blessed our families “exceedingly and abundantly more than we could ever ask or imagine.” May God give you wisdom as you walk by faith.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. We will pray that God will lead you to join the Berean family.
