History

Berean Academy was founded in 1946 in the peaceful and safe country setting of Elbing, Kansas (11 miles east of Newton). Berean Academy, a non-denominational Christian school, held its first commencement in 1948. The school sits on a 40-acre campus and serves over 300 students currently enrolled in grades Pre-K through 12th.

Berean Academy offers Christian families a great place of partnership in the education of their children. The school provides a program of education which promotes a Christ-centered lifestyle, upholds a standard of scholastic excellence, promotes the principles established in the Word of God, furnishes instruction in a Christian world view, and prepares students to take their places in the home, in the church, in their vocations, and in their country.
